3. I moved onto disc 3 of Into the West. Good god that is an rage! inducing program. I've had my history lessons, and I give major kudos for Spielberg laying it all out there. I sat there last night and said to Brian how much I hated the white man. Sounds bad right? At least my ancestors didn't come over until after the Native Americans were completely hosed. I did enjoy the line "History is written by the winners". Damn skippy it is, bastards. I wonder if I enjoy European history better because of how awful America's history is.

4. In laptop news, I got an e-mail yesterday saying they were finally gonna work on it and it might ship out today. Expect epic squee if I get that news. One cannot survive by sidekick alone, especially when pictures are not loading anymore. Suck.

5. New Supernatural tonight. Squee! When I can do proper LJ cutting ettiqute I will let you know what I managed to get spoiled on up in Vancouver by episode. I figure you'll get 15, 16, and 17 after next week's episode. I can include some pictures of goodies by then...

While driving around and doing multiple u-turns on Saturday, Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive came on the radio.  I was driving, and when it got to the part the boys sang, I did the Dean hand movements.  Tara has determined that I was Dean during the trip running around in my black leather boots and jacket, and she was Sam as she was wearing her emo! jacket.

When you're on set, and told to be uber quiet, more than likely something will happen, like a grumbling stomach attempting to digest all the pizza it was fed for dinner.  Good thing I passed on the wine.  *facepalm*  Stern looks and finger wagging does not help the situation as it causes the other people to laugh.  I got one hell of a good look at the green screen section waiting for that bell to ring and for us to get the hell off of set.

While having entertaining conversations about past characters on the show, the chances of getting spoiled about upcoming events will happen.

They shoot episodes all over Vancouver.  We missed taking a picture of one of the hotel signs and we drove past it at least 6 times.  EPIC FAIL.  I suppose that means my fangirl card should be revoked.

Border crossing is not fun.   They ask the same questions over and over.  I recommend purchasing one of the oh so ridiculous Olympic mascots to wave at Border Patrol.  I think that's what finally got us through

We went out to lunch with two friends from the art department on Monday before we left.  They took us to a tiny hidden industry favorite lunch restaurant which had epic grilled cheese sandwiches.  I cannot tell you how many times I put my hands over my ears again.  There were a few near misses.  I did get some daylight pictures of the HERO Impalas so they show much better in daylight versus night time.





We also hit the bridge they recently shot under this season.




We hit the border much faster from the studio versus trying to get to the hotel.  AND GOT STUCK WAITING 2 HOURS TO GET BACK IN THE US.  Fail.  We watched two episodes of Supernatural while waiting. Then it was a game of 20 questions again.  The border people do not like hearing you have friends in another country.  Too weird.

Tara continues to let things slip.  OMG.  OMG!!!

We went out for brunch with our friend from the art department at the Denny's where they shot Bad Day at Black Rock.  We hit a few more places after as well.  I finally caved and asked about the twist to 4.19, or actually how they sorted out the mess.  So I know that.  But then we were discussing other things and she accidentally spoiled me for something else.  I swear I would have been better off with my fingers in my ears the entire time.  At some point, I'll have to give more details about what we saw on the set at the studio, but most of it would be spoilery.  And it's bad enough I've been spoiled.

The bridge they use for a ton of the episodes.  It stays open most of the time.  You have to go on a nature trail to get to the bridge, and it was around sunset when we trekked out, and I had the joy of making Jason movie sounds at Tara, "che che che, ah ah ah".  Hee!

We stopped at one more location, but the episode hasn't aired yet and I don't want to spoil you guys.

Here's the deal.  You go to the studio and they talk about what's going on, what's happened, or what is going to happen.  Titles don't bother me I know most of them for the rest of the season.  I know a general bit about 4.17 and am looking forward to it, especially Sam's bit.  Walking on the sets from 4.18 did not bother me, or seeing a ton of the artwork.  The scene we watched from 4.19 was awesome, major spoilery, and OMG.  But then, I am the one walking around, with her fingers in her ears, going "lalala".  No lie.  Tara is my witness.  And it doesn't help when the art department starts making shit up to mess with you because you keep putting your fingers in your ears.  It's funny, but OMG I want to know how they explain 4.19 or what the twist is.  I've cheated a bit, I know some general stuff, but I don't know which episode it occurs in, BUT TARA KNOWS IT ALL.  So entereh today's lunch time poll:

The great Vancouver challenge continued today. We decided to take pictures of various Supernatural film locations. I'm not sure if I should count the last one in the parking garage or not, but it did take more than 12 u-turns to navigate to our various locations.

So after that fiasco, we tried to leave Butzen Lake, and the U-Turning began in earnest. We got lost trying to get back to town. It took 5 U-Turns to get back to where we needed to go to try and get to the building used in Asylum and Folsum Prison Blues. It took us 5 more to get us to the building.

Yeah, I'm 5, whatever.

We ended up capping off our evening by seeing Friday the 13th. Jared has game yo. GAME. And I want to know the maker of the jeans he wears in that film, because OMG. There are no words.

Who made all of today impossible.  We had this trip to Vancouver planned since August, Andie, Tara, and I.  And then anteka 's grandfather had a stroke this past Wednesday night.   We offered to reschedule, but she sent us on our way anyways saying someone had to have fun this weekend as she could not.  We've had a brilliant time so far, but miss her dearly.  It's been an epic experience but it's been bittersweet.  And our love and best thoughts have been with her this weekend.  That being said so commences my epic squee.

The art department up here is brilliant.  We had a all girls pizza party up in the conference room.  And shocking, I have been spoiled for so many flipping episodes it's not even funny.  We got a tour, and got to watch the boys film a scene from 4.19.  EPIC.  EPIC.

4. Damn you squishy. AND FUCK YOU FOX TV. I am so behind on TV because I keep watching Reunion. That show was awesome. Why the hell was it cancelled? I have one episode left to watch. And I think I want to have Will Estes' babies, like I needed *another* boyfriend. Best part of the show is the music showcase for each year. I hate FOX.

5. Fanboys has suddenly appeared at our AMC theatre this Friday. So much for Taken. Check your local listings, if your theatre has it, GO SEE IT. If it sucks you can blame the studio, because it's suppose to be epic. Kristen Bell as slave Leia, road tripping to Skywalker Ranch, Star Wars references up the whazoo. Should be a good time.

6. Can someone please explain to me why airfares have doubled since last summer? If the economy sucks, no one is gonna spend that money to fly, and it's just gonna get worse.

Brian is a Supernatural fan.  I loves it.  He called me for something then asks if I'd been watching Supernatural at the CW lately.  I haven't because I used to put it on at work so SPN would get the hits, but go off and do other things.  I can't do that in my new guilded cage.  ANYWAYS, he was watching the Pirates of the Caribbean episode at work this evening and commented that they're doing pops up on screen ala VH1's Pop Up Video with fun facts about the boys, the show, and other random facts if it applies to a scene.  Nifty.

Also, did anyone catch the girls of CW's Thursday Night  commercial?  At least our two girls are hotter than the girls of Smallville.

1 - Somebody forgot their Red Robin burger in my friggie.  And the only reason it was there after I got home Sunday after was because of all the mushrooms!  W00t!

So anteka came down Friday so we could meet up with some out of town friends.  It was great seeing jaimsie again, and awesome to meet mistojen and ssstevie.  We then ran over to the Creation Ass Rape Hotel and meet up with iamtinkerbean and other like minded individuals.  It was cool meeting other fangirls and seeing some I had met at WinchestMidwest.  So after a bit of squeeage and watching Andie being oblivious to being squeed over, we returned home to perv on Zac Efron.  Zac who at some point had braces considering the gap in his two front teeth in The Derby Stallion.  What a gap tooth bitch.  *facepalm*

Saturday was also quite entertaining.  I played PA to anteka and also acted as Plastic!Wrangler for Plastic!Dean and Plastic!Sam.  It was truly amazing to see how many people read P!WT.  I had the boys posed on my knee and the girls would do double takes as they walked past.  Apparently, working up the nerve to come over and say hi.  Yes, people you can touch the boys.  And even have you picture taken with them.  The boys also had their first professional photos taken.



I did not pay for the con, I'm still having issues with how much creation charged for tickets, plus the $7 per ticket ass rape fee they tacked on each ticket.  It was uber cool, meeting up with other fangirls and that was why I ended up going.  I saw some familiar faces and met some new people.  I need to catch up with everyone to get pictures from the weekend.  I mostly have shots of the Plastic!boys by the above poster.

2 - Asshole bosses aren't at work today.  W00t!

3 - I think I really want to be a massage therapist.  30 hours is full time.  Salary ranges from $20-$60k.  Not having to work for the man if you have to, flexible hours, not sitting behind a desk all day.  Sounds good to me.  The downside, school for 15 months 3 days out of the week.  Can I just win a lottery amount to pay off my house and tuition for school?  Then I could just go to school full time and be done in 9 months.

My ultimate goal is to be Jensen's personal massage therapist.  Everyone has to have goals people.

Why oh why has no one shown me these pretties before?  WTF?  OMG.  I cannot breathe.  Jensen/Impala  porn.
