So we had to go to church today as Simba was being presented to the royal Prideland subjects Ava Sophia was being baptized. The pastor tells us to pass the peace of Christ, and Brian turns to me as says, "I didn't bring any pieces of Christ with me." *smirks* OMG. That right there is why I married him.

This will be the 3rd annual we give thanks for our favorite TV show on Thanksgiving. Year One was Firefly and Serenity, and Year Two was Season one of Veronica Mars. This year we will be giving thanks for Doctor Who. We decided to go with our favorite episodes to get through all the season versus watching ones we don't like just to do a full season. Here is our list so far, and I don't know if we can pare it down anymore. We may pick up on Black Friday as we're ditching the live tree this year.

We already did the family gig on Saturday, so Thursday is us in our jammies on the couch. I'm thinking of moving my Doctor Who stuff into the family room to decorate, and I'm making TARDIS cookies. We did end up with all the Moffat written episodes. We're hoping past episode will translate over to the next Doctor.

So we took a field trip to Ikea today to get a display case for my ever increasing Barbie collection.  *glares at anteka and BFF's wife Christie*  Turns out I had a shitload of SPN to display instead.  Guess I need another case...

So trillian276709 and I decided to do the Leverage Con in Portland. Fingers crossed that anteka will be joining us. First off let me express how much I love these con people compared to Creation Ass Rape Entertainment. We managed to crash their server last night when tickets went on sale and the guy running it was awesome. He kept us up to date on the message boards as to what was happening, and gave us backup alternatives to get a lower number ticket. Tara stayed up until almost 1AM her time, and I was up for work at 5:20 AM (3:20 AM Tara's time). Needless to say, at 5:29 AM our tickets were bought and paid for. *facepalm* OMG!

And you know what else is epically awesome? No rape fees like Creation (we're an ass rape company) Entertainment. Suck it Creation and your $500 gold pass ticket for this weekend. We got ourselves a $300, no extra rape free, platinium pass which INCLUDES a set visit, close row, autographs from the 5 cast members, some banquet, and cocktail party, with the possibility of a Kane show. Me angry? No, I just think Creation is a bunch of greedy money grabbing ass raping surcharging douchbags. /rant

OMG. Somebody hack me and fix my coding. WTF!

Here's a quickie observation, the Kane is a smaller than I expected man.  Not as tiny as the Ackles mind you, but slimmer none the less.  I have decided I could probably do a fireman carry with him.  I wouldn't be able to get as far with him as I could with Tommy Shaw, but there you go.

3. I love Leverage, and my dirty obsession with Chris Kane has not abated in the flurry of anteka's bad photoshopping and Nate/Eliot mini porn-let's.

4. If I'm making us tin hats for Dragon Con I really need to get everything together I need to make them.

5. Balance ball workouts are hard. And it is actually quite the workout to use one as a chair at work.

6. I need to study for the Network+ exam. I hate studying. *blurg*

7. Another massive catch up post needs to happen this weekend. I still have Arizona pictures to post, and WinchestMidwest, and Comic Con.

Damn you Target! Did anyone see the page of DVDs? We now own Angel S5 & Moonlight. We started with "You're Welcome" because umm hello the tiny Texan is in it. Then, we moved on to Smile Time. Young Dean was in it, but died before the credits. But the OMG moment was realizing the episode was partially written and directed by Ben Edlund. That man has it out for the puppets yo. There was more puppet shooting and wads of fluff flying. Did he have a bad experience? Just sharing. We're on to the next Lindsay episode.
